We're Coming Back!

Well, it’s been a couple of years since I shut down my old podcast, Dadrenaline. At the end, I was finding it more and more difficult to find the time to publish a new episode every week. Life gets busy. But now, my wife Mary and I are getting to the point where the kids need less and less attention from us (or maybe they want less attention) so we have been looking for a way to get back into podcasting. When Mary would come on my old show, we found that we had a chemistry (duh!) that worked not only in life but on a show. So, that’s what we’re going to do.

The new podcast, if you haven’t already heard, will be called We Do Hard Things. If you don’t know where the title comes from, you probably haven’t spent enough time around Mary. As a Life Skills Special Education/Neural Education teacher, she pushes her kids to do things they or their parents never dreamed possible. When people ask how she motivates them, she boldly states her mantra, “We Do Hard Things”.

But, it’s not just her students that can use that mantra. We all do hard things in our lives every day. Let’s be honest. Life is hard. If you’re a grown-up like me (there could be an argument against that), then you have gone through many different chapters of pain, sadness, loss, and every other hard thing one can imagine. But, you’re still here just like all of us. We are not always going to tell you how to fix those things. We just want to share our experiences and hope that you can relate to them and share yours back with us and the audience. There will be many chances for you to do that through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and even a voicemail line. We want to get to know you and to share this common bond we have between us.
